The Verb have commissioned me to do a piece of writing. So tune in to hear my monologue read by actress Jessica Dickens.

Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th – The Harrogate Crime Festival
Don’t miss this year’s exceptional event, which includes appearances by David Simon, co-creator of outstanding TV drama, The Wire, The fabulous Lee Child and many, many more.
I will be joining writers, John Harvey, Cathi Unsworth and Martyn Waites on The Music To Murder panel. Andrew Male, of MOJO magazine will make sure we keep the rhythm swinging.

I will be joining Mark Lawson to swap dance moves as we discuss the legendary Tina Turner’s concert at the O2. This is a total honour for me as I’ve been a fan forever! "River deep, mountain high, yeah, yeah, yeah..."

I will be joining historian Tristram Hunt and journalist Anne McElvoy to chat about Clint Eastwood’s latest screen performance in Grand Torino, (lucky me as I’ve been a huge Clint fan for years!); Lenny Henry treading the boards in Othello; Van Dyke’s return to our shores at the Tate Britain; novelist Lissa Evans latest offering, Their Finest Hour and a Half set during the Second World War and 'I am the West' a selection of UK sponsored TV adverts aimed at showing Britain in a good light in Pakistan.
Presenter and journalist Sarfraz Manzour will be keeping us in order!
